Alright guys, so in this lesson I want to share with you the #1 Rule that I've discovered for succeeding in today's modern society.

Once you understand this rule and put it to work in your business, you'll be blown away at the results you experience.

I know I was...because it literally turned my own business around overnight. For months and months I struggled to sponsor even a single new rep. But using this 1 rule I'm about to share with you in this lesson, the results were really…I mean…astounding.

I started generating 126 leads and up to $1098 in cash PER DAY…and then automatically transitioning those leads into my downline so I consistently sponsor dozens of new reps.

So it's pretty cool, and here it is -

The #1 rule that you must understand is that you have to learn how to be invited into your prospect's world as a welcomed guest and expert, not a solicitor and pest.

Now let's break this one down and I'll explain it further.

First, you need to understand the difference between a solicitor/pest and an expert.

A solicitor is someone who hounds their friends/family & circle of influence, cold calls, hands out flyers and sizzle cards, buys those over-priced worthless "opportunity leads" from all those leads companies, and so on...

An expert positions themselves in the market place in such a way that interested people can find them, and contact them first.

Now...who contacts who first in a relationship is critical.

Using the old methods of building your business, you are chasing your prospect. You're the hunter.

But when interested people can contact you FIRST, your prospect is chasing YOU.

You've just become the hunted.

Now think about how this is such a game changer for you...

When someone contacts you first they are literally seeking you out and welcoming you into their world as a guest...not a pest.

They're basically saying...

"Hey josh, I'd like for you to tell me more about your business"

WHOA...right?

How easy would it be to sponsor a prospect like THAT!

Now think about how easy it would be to have a huge business if that's the ONLY type of prospect you dealt with...

Your downline would be huge, right?

Now I realize that this goes against almost everything you've been taught by your upline...and you probably think that such a thing is impossible...and I totally understand.

I mean I've been right where you are, and at first I thought it was garbage too.

Because what are the 2 main things your upline teaches you?

"Just Get Through The Numbers"

&

"Everyone Is Your Prospect"

Sounds familiar, eh?

Now let's talk about the idea of "Just Get Through The Numbers" first, because I think this concept has been responsible for at TON of un-suspecting new reps being driven into insanity...maybe even you too.

I mean we've all been there, right? Hoping, wishing, praying that today will be the day someone says - "YES!" to joining you.

So you start out by hounding your friends/family & circle of influence...of course losing quite a few friends along the way...and then you move on to forking over hordes of your hard earned cash buying leads.

Or maybe you prospect at the mall, starbucks, whatever...

Either way, let's think about this from a business aspect. Because you're a business owner, [fname], so that's exactly how you should be looking at it.

And as a business owner, if your marketing strategy was to "get through the numbers" to find just 1 client or 1 employee, would that even be a marketing strategy at ALL?

Of course it wouldn't...or if it was you'd probably never make any money at it (...sound familiar??)

Which leads me to sharing with you an incredibly ironic fact:

There is literally no marketing in Network Marketing

Funny, huh?

That'd be like a sales company not teaching their employees how to sell....

Yet that's exactly what this industry does.

...So that should be a pretty big hint of why there's a 97%...or more...failure rate in this industry, huh?

I mean think about it - What is your job?

Your job is to market and promote your products & market and promote your opportunity.

That's it.

...yet you aren't taught how to market.

That should be hitting you like a ton of bricks right now.

Actually let me illustrate how horrible and detrimental this idea of "get through the numbers" really is for your business...

Let's pretend for a second that you are trying to build a professional football team.

Would you just ask your friends/family & other people in your circle of influence if they were "interested in becoming an NFL star"?

Would you run around the mall, starbucks, or wherever and just randomly ask people the same question - "are you interested in becoming a famous NFL star"?

You'd no doubt get a lot of "yes's"...but would this be a smart startegy to follow if you wanted your team to actually be competitive?

OF COURSE NOT.

Your team would be slaughtered, and you'd give up. Probably after just the first game...if not after the first scrimmage.

It sounds so silly when you put it that way, right?

But by trying to "get through the numbers" that's exactly what you're doing!

You're hoping that eventually you'll run into enough "talent" to have a winning team...

But what if you built your business like NFL scouts build pro-ball teams?

I mean after all, you're building a team...it's really the same thing. Your team just moves products and recruits other people instead of catching footballs, that's basically the difference.

So what do NFL scouts do?

They recruit.

They scout for the best players in the NCAA... They time their recruits in the 40yd dash....they analyze their stats...etc. etc.

And if they potentially measure up THEN, and ONLY THEN, do they offer them a position on the team.

You see where I'm going with this?

So how do you build your business like an NFL scout?

Well actually it's incredibly easier than you might think. And this is actually a perfect example for you to learn from...

First off, where do NFL scouts start their search - usually Colleges...

Why?

Because it is their target market.

Now real quick - a target market simply refers to the group of people that are most likely to buy your products or services.

...and in the case of the NFL, the group of people that are most likely to be successful playing pro ball.

So why would collegiate athletes be most likely to succeed playing pro ball?

Well becuase they've probably been playing football their whole lives.

They've honed their skills... They've invested money in equipment and training... And they've shown a real dedication to the sport by staying committed for so long.

Pretty solid place to start if you're an NFL recruit, wouldn't you say?

So what about your business?

What is YOUR target market?

In other words, what group of people are most likely to buy into your opportunity?

The answer is going to shock you, I can guarantee you that... And it actually goes along with the second "lie" I shared with you earlier that your upline probably has been telling you, which is..."Everyone Is Your Prospect"

97% of people fail in this industry because they have no clue who their target market really is.

In other words, most network marketers have absolutely no clue who would be most likely to join their downline…

Most people think they do, with that "everyone could use this business" or some garbage like that..but that's why there's such a failure rate in this industry.
